1. Who we are
Duebolt (duebolt.com) is provided by Shamil Musaev, a sole trader (enskild firma) registered in Sweden, VAT number SE950129797301 (“we”, “us”). Contact: support@duebolt.com. These terms are an agreement between you and us. By creating an account, buying a plan or using the service you accept them. If you use Duebolt for a business, you accept them on behalf of that business.
2. What Duebolt is, and what it isn’t
Duebolt is a tool for creating, sending and keeping track of invoices. You decide what goes on your invoices and you are solely responsible for their content and use, including prices, tax rates, tax numbers, currency and any information required by law where you or your clients are based. Default tax rates, templates and texts are examples, not advice. Duebolt does not provide tax, accounting or legal advice, is not a payment service, and does not collect money from your clients on your behalf. We are not responsible for whether your clients pay you.
3. Who can use it
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement. Keep your login secure; you are responsible for activity on your account.
4. Plans and prices
- Free: the invoice generator is free without an account, with no watermark and no limit on PDF downloads. A free account keeps your 3 most recent invoices in the cloud.
- Pro: $5 per month, billed monthly in advance. It renews automatically each month until you cancel. Your price stays the same for as long as your subscription stays active without interruption.
- Lifetime: a one-time payment of $49 for Pro features for the lifetime of the Duebolt service (not your lifetime). It is personal to your account and can’t be transferred.
Prices are in US dollars. VAT or sales tax is added where required by law, based on the location you give at checkout, and shown before you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe; their terms apply to the payment. If a payment fails, Pro may be paused until it succeeds. We may change prices for new purchases at any time; a change never affects an active subscription’s price.
5. Cancelling and refunds
You can cancel Pro at any time in your account settings. You keep Pro until the end of the period you’ve paid for and won’t be charged again. We don’t refund partial months, except as described below.
14-day money-back guarantee: if you’re not happy with your first Pro payment or your Lifetime purchase, email support@duebolt.com within 14 days of paying and we’ll refund it in full, no questions asked. This guarantee applies once per customer.
Consumers in the EU: you have a legal right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days. The guarantee above gives you at least the same right, so you can always get your money back within 14 days of your first purchase. To use it, just email us; you can also use the model withdrawal form in Annex I(B) of Directive 2011/83/EU.
6. Your content
You own the invoices, business details, client details and other content you put into Duebolt. You give us permission to store, process and display it only as needed to run the service for you, for example to show your client the invoice page you sent them. You confirm that you have the right to use the information you enter, including your clients’ personal data.
7. Personal data you enter about your clients
When you enter personal data about your clients (such as names, email addresses and addresses), you are the controller of that data and we process it on your behalf as your processor. In that role we: process it only to provide Duebolt and on your instructions as given through the service; keep it confidential; protect it with appropriate security measures; use only the sub-processors listed in our Privacy Policy and tell you before adding new ones; help you respond to requests from the people concerned; tell you without undue delay if we become aware of a personal data breach affecting it; delete it when you delete it or close your account (except where the law requires us to keep it); and give you the information needed to show compliance with Article 28 of the GDPR. These terms are our data processing agreement with you.
8. Acceptable use
Don’t use Duebolt to send spam, to create fake, misleading or fraudulent invoices, to impersonate anyone, to infringe anyone’s rights, or for anything illegal. Don’t try to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service. We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules, and may refuse service to anyone who abuses refunds or chargebacks.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep Duebolt running and your data safe, but the service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We don’t promise it will always be available, error free or suitable for a particular purpose. Keep your own copies of important invoices (you can download any invoice as a PDF). We may change, add or remove features. If we shut down Duebolt or a paid feature, we’ll give at least 30 days’ notice by email and a way to export your invoices.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows: we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost revenue, unpaid invoices, tax penalties or errors in invoices you create; and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or $50 if you used Duebolt for free). We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, such as for intent or gross negligence, or your rights as a consumer under mandatory law.
11. Ending the agreement
You can stop using Duebolt and ask us to close your account at any time. We may close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms. When an account is closed we delete its content, except records we must keep by law.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For important changes we’ll email account holders at least 14 days before they take effect. If you don’t agree, you can cancel before then; continuing to use Duebolt means you accept the new terms.
13. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Swedish law, and disputes are settled by Swedish courts. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and may bring a claim there. Please contact us first at support@duebolt.com; we’ll try to solve it quickly. Consumers can also turn to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, arn.se).
